The Open in Infrared

Golf's oldest championship returned to Northern Ireland and Royal Portrush Golf Club in 2019 after a 68 year absence.

A converted digital infrared camera was used to document the tournament and also some of the behind the scenes characters at the golf club who had worked to bring the championship back to the north Antrim links course. The concept behind the photographs was to record some hopefully dramatic skies, weather permitting, whilst dating the pictures from another time through the prism of infrared.
